Welcome aboard young lady hope u enjoy R2R I’m pretty sure you will I think it’s cool that you have kept tank going even though you had no experience. It’s kinda shows that you just might have the knack for this hobbie. Also don’t worry about a Rant every now n then we all do it and people here are very understanding and definitely helpful. Good luckHi. My name is Amy and we bought a new home in November. The home has a 120 ga built in tank and the tank, fish, corals, pumps and all equipment came with the home. We had no idea how to keep this tank alive, but somehow we’ve managed to do so for a couple months! We’ve had mega nitrate issues and that continued no matter what we tried so we had an algae scrubber installed and nitrates are coming down slowly but surely. We’ve only tested nitrates and phosphates at this point. We have had an aquarium specialist come out a couple times to show us how to change the water, etc. Right now my frustration is that the previous owners installed an Apex system and we have yet to be able to get the thing connected to our internet. Also, our bubbletips are moving all over the tank and I think it’s because our flow is too high and I cannot figure out how to fix it! Anyway blah blah, happy to be here. Everyone seems pretty nice and helpful. Thanks for letting me rant! I took these photos as the lights are dimming down for the night so I know the tank is dim in the photos.
