Almost filled with water. Started adding salt tonight. Should be full in the morning.

Got the 20" Synergy Reef Overflow plumbed and ready. Here is how we plumb inside the rear box on ours. We use 2 x 1.5" ABS Street ELs, 2 x 1.5" ABS sweep 90's and 1 x 2" x 1.5" reducer for the top of the emergency drain. For the pipe we used 1.5" ABS. We found all of the pieces at Lowes. Here is a picture of the built pieces.

You need to drill a 1/4" hole in the top of both of the 90's for air siphon breaks.

Here is the inside of the rear box after putting in the components. I do NOT glue any of these pieces, just press fit them.

Hello, does both of the 90s need to be drilled for venting? Hoping to have the 20" in my hands from you all in a few days.

@mixer911 doesn't love us.... :(

@revhtree Wow I have been neglecting this thread! Sorry guys, we've been crazy around here this summer. Working on a huge new product release for MACNA and it has been taking all of my extra time.

The tank is doing ok. Could be better, but going thru growing pains. While I was out of town for about 10 days my clam decided to die. This pretty much nuked all my sps. Tank went thru another mini cycle after that and it recovering now. Most of my LPS survived as did all the fish. I also cannot get my nitrate levels to go down. THey are way over 100 and doing multiple water changes every week is not any fun. I just put some biopellets back online yesterday to see if I can combat the nitrate with these.

@Bracka345 Yes the holes are important to stop air locks from forming in your plumbing. Also on the secondary it is a partial siphon so it needs the air to balance the flow.

Hey Eric,

@ReeferEric Our drilling template will have the measurements that you need. http://www.synergyreef.com/Manuals/20 Inch Overflow Drilling Template.pdf
The water level is about 1" below the top of the inside eurobrace.

My pair of premium blacker ice clowns have been laying eggs like crazy. They have laid about 8 clutches over the past couple of months. Here you can see the pair tending to the eggs with larvae in them. Almost ready to hatch.

Finally able to build myself an ATO container for the system. I installed dual float switches and have a solenoid to fill it from my RO/DI unit directly. I used a modified maxijet to fill the sump.

Also a sneak peek at a new product that I have been testing for the last few months [emoji6] I have made a few over the years, but finally have settled on a production model.

So here is what we are currently working on. Integration into our sump line with the Turbo's Aquatics ATS line. I am testing the L4 version that @Floyd R Turbo has just released on this tank. I have been battling very high nitrates over the last few months and water changes have not put a dent in it. Going to be testing some different mounting configurations with this unit. Here is the unit just sitting on the CL-44 model we are using.
