The 5 foot build… It’s happening!!

I picked this guy up on Monday, he hit the sand and watching him go down was fascinating as you just saw him slowly vanish but appear as if there was 0 movement at all!

Someone would look at this photo and call it something like “super rare acid rainfall holy grail torch” and get 10k from it

All it is is a pair of glasses and ai blades with a camera that picks up too much colour!

Attempt… who knows what number… at having a pair of Twisted Tamarins!

And this is the photo that made me grab the two of them today. My first pair of Twistii I had.

Well, the Twistii introduction I can safely say was a success! I now have yet another pair of Twistii swimming round the tank
I’ve yet to get a proper photo of both - my aim being to have a similar photo to this;

Unfortunately not all updates are good so here’s the next one…
Unfortunately BJD has managed to get into the tank.
The major losses have been 2 of the 3 frogspawn - albeit they went into decline before decaying. And my true Holy Grail torch and Atleast half of the splitting head of ultra grail - the other half may not be too far behind.

However! Yesterday, I did the one thing I know can help reduce BJD… I did a bath of Iodine, Amoxicillin and Ciprofloxacin for 13 hours. This pretty much resulted in no LPS in that tank for that whole period.

On the upside to this, I found some Gonis I forgot about altogether! I found a highlighter goni just sat right in a crevice of the rocks. I also added my Glitter Bomb into this tank from my nano as I wanted to recover it from algae and such taking over (fingers are crossed).
Oh and, my big pink tipped ultra grail turns out to have 4 heads now! It split into 2 and then at some point one of those decided to have a triple split.
So, whilst it was a shame I lost a few LPS, I got a fair amount out of it

Oh and, I can’t leave it with a bad update can I, so if you haven’t seen the wrasse lovers thread, I got 3 new wrasses yesterday! I now have 16 wrasses in this tank out of 24 fish total.
The wrasses were;
A pair of Pseudojuloides splendens (Splendid Pencil Wrasse) - these were the reason I went to my other LFS, just to see what they looked like. And well, clearly I liked them because they’re now in the 5 foot system. I need to get a better photo of them but that male is gorgeous.

And the 3rd wrasse I got, well I didn’t intend to go wanting it. But, I like this species too much so how could I not. Remember my big male lineatus that my Angel battered?

I had the chance on a 2.5-3 inch female and took it. I wasn’t turning her down because she is gorgeous oh, and she’s had a much more successful introduction than the male did. She’s shy (as all females are in that complex) but she’s been out swimming around nicely this morning with minimal issues aside from standard hierarchal aggression - but being female, she’s done what they normally do and happily sat at the bottom of the hierarchy.
