I just tested after adding another 6 ml at 1:48 and it is still showing up clear. Should I add another 6ml?
I would mix up 1 gallon of new salt water. I would then add around 5 times the recommended copper to it, mix it, and test it. See where you end up. That way you will have a good idea of how much you need to dose to your tank to get copper where you need it.
Just don't add the freshly mixed salt water to your QT for a day or two, then you can use it for a small water change.

Also at this point i would do a separate test on this product. Take a known volume of tank water and treat it with the proper ammount dosage of copper aid. Now test that water. Raise the dosage until you start getting a registered result.

Mine posted first! :p

I find it frustrating that these manufacturers give you dosing instructions but never tell you what ppm content you should get after the add.

I did the gallon test thing but It is nearly impossible to tell which color it matches up to.

It would be nice if manufactures would do that. Would make things a lot better for the end user. Could Copper-Aid be geared more for FW tanks?

This looks pretty on point... probably a bit high. But now you know what it takes to get the levels up.

So I have added about 12 ml of copper aid to the tank and I need roughly 62 ml total to get the tank to therapeutic levels? How often and how much at each time should I add the copper aid to get to this point.

@Fishninja , Definetly post your values for everyone here. I personally want to know the suggested values vs actual effective values. Once the data is crunched you can divide into actual known value and get the recommended doses for proper SW ich treatment.

I would take the total known value, 62. Divide it by 7 doses. Each dose will equal 8.85ml per day over the course of 7 days. You can go faster but Humble recommend over 7 days is best.

Currently you have 12ml's, so I would add another 5ml to achieve a full 2 doses and go from there. I think my math is right, but i suggest going through it all yourself too.

Ok so since I have done 12ml and it has been two days I will dose another 5.7ml to get my levels up to the equivalent of two 8.85ml doses.
