This is an absolutely beautiful setup.

I would love to see more of these SPS coral shot eye candy haha!

Do you have photos of the LED setup and details of how many RB to White LED's etc etc?

I read your whole thread, you went through some difficult times dude. Well done on setting up this amazing reef tank. I have an LED/T5 tank and I really like the overall apperance of the light.

Show off your corals and reef, post more coral shots ok? :haha:

Thanks for the compliment-its been way to long since I have posted some pics-

In the interim, I have replumbed the tank since in hindsight that neat "manifold" that I had to redirect water to 4 seperate pipes was a terrible idea. I restricted water flow even when I swapped impellers and added the 4400GPH one I have.
Part of the issue was going straight to 1" PVC from 1.5" which also hurt.

Did it need to be done? No but I just cant leave things along that I know can be better-

I now have 1.5" all the way to the front returns that are reduced to 3/4" right about were the loclines screw into the 90 degree return elbow.

Anyway I think the motivation for the few pics was my newest wish I got. Its chillin out in the acclimation box and is eating already-:clap2:

Its a Red Headed Wrasse (Halichoeres rubricephalus)
These are shots I got right after putting him in, he wont stay still long enough anymore to get a decent pic

It was a tough addition, I thought I lost it (died) for a while-it literally went MIA for 3 days, on day 4 when I thought, "there goes another 100.00 down the drain" 'ol red swims out from behind the rocks-

Thanks for the compliment!

Great looking tank and corals bro!! =)
Ah my brutha from another mutha-Thanks man, there is some sexyness in there fro sure. My Del Fuego is "growing up" as are many other pieces I got from you-I've been lurking and have seen a few lovelys I wouldn't mind adding

A reef fishes dream! Looks great and awesome wrasse!
Thanks Rev, I keep seeing Mike and Terry posting new fish in their 300 so I gotta have room for more....Dont I-

Great looking tank and corals. Love the new addition.

Its a really cool fish-Its been less than a month and this little guy eats from my hand, I was trying to get a snail to attach to the side of the tank the other day so my hand was cupped while waiting for the snail to attach-'Ol red swam into my hand and hung out-it was
nutty.gif

My most current addition (there have been many since my last update) is a LARGE donut coral that I traded my Oregon Tort Colony for. I think this thing is at least 8 inches across and I could not resist the trade I made. The tort had close to 3 years of growth and had 4 thick branches with the tallest only measuring 6" but I have about a dozen frags with the largest being 3" so I'll just start over.

So here is my 20.00 donut (thats what I paid for the frag about 3 years ago)

And here are few quick pics while the camera was out-I keep telling the fish to hold still but...........

Dang I did not realize how long its been-Its sad looking at the above photos, My Lineatus kicked the bucket, my male Hawaiian jump out somehow getting past the screen tops, the flasher got eaten-
Needless to say my bio load is much less than it was-
sad.gif

I also got rid of the potters and added a leopard and I think the Chevron is new since then as well-The tank looks much different now but
here is a FTS from 11-15-12
